The IOQ/MOQ Production Adjustment feature, available in the Supply Planning Worksheet, simplifies the supply planning process by helping users align their order quantities with manufacturer restrictions, specifically the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and Incremental Order Quantity (IOQ). After adjustments, the values in the supply plan are automatically updated.
The feature is only available for SKUs that belong to a batch group.
Accessing the Feature
To use the IOQ/MOQ Production Adjustment feature, follow these steps:
Optimise the Supply Planning Worksheet
Right-click on the SKU you want to adjust in the Supply Planning Worksheet
Select “IOQ/MOQ Production Adjustment” from the context menu. (Figure 1.1)
The “Production Adjustments” pop-up window will appear

Using the Feature
The pop-up window (Figure 1.2) displays the current values from the Supply Planning Worksheet for the selected SKU, along with any SKUs and their values that are within the same batch group as the selected SKU. It shows the MOQ and IOQ for the batch group, as well as the MOQ and IOQ for each individual SKU within the batch group. This allows users to easily adjust quantities in accordance with these restrictions.

Key Features:
Adjusting Quantities: Users can select the specific month they wish to adjust using the drop-down list under “Production Month” (Figure 1.2). Months that need adjustments are marked with asterisk (*) and displayed in red. These mark production quantities that fail to meet MOQ/IOQ restrictions and require adjustments. Quantities can only be adjusted for make-to-stock SKUs. Make-to-order SKUs are excluded from these adjustments but are still included in the total batch quantity.
Adding SKUs: If the batch group contains make-to-stock SKUs without planned production for the selected month, users can add these SKUs by selecting them in the drop-down list “Add available SKU to plan…” (Figure 1.2). Note that make-to-order SKUs are not listed in the drop-down list and cannot be added.
Meeting Requirements: The system alerts users of the total quantity needed to meet the MOQ for the batch group and any adjustments required to align with the IOQ from the supplier. Users cannot confirm their adjustments until these requirements are satisfied. Furthermore, the system alerts users if the quantity for each individual SKU needs to be adjusted according to the SKU’s MOQ/IOQ (Figure 1.3).
Multiplier/Divider Functionality: The system provides the ability to add a multiplier/divider constant for each SKU. For example, supply planning might be done at a package level, while IOQ/MOQ restrictions apply at a unit level (e.g., tablets). This allows adjustments to be made at the unit level while ensuring that, upon confirmation, quantities are converted back to package level before they are updated in the Supply Plan.

Once all necessary adjustments are made to meet the requirements, click “Save” to apply the changes to the Supply Plan.
