Using Grid Actions in Demand Planning

The Grid Actions feature in PLAIO allows planners to enhance their demand forecasting workflows by running advanced forecasting models, customizing plan types, and simulating what-if scenarios — all directly within the Grid View.

This functionality is designed to help you automate, optimize, and compare demand planning strategies across SKUs.

What Are Grid Actions?

Grid Actions are available via the Action Button (... icon) located at the top-right corner of the Grid View. These actions allow you to:

  • Run Generate Forecasts

  • Create new custom plan types

  • Lock forecasts using Save Forecast Version

  • Delete existing plan types

  • Export worksheets to Excel

Available Actions

Here’s a breakdown of each available Grid Action:

Action
